Platform for Burning Man ’06
I spent way too long tonight putting together a SketchUp model of a design for a camp for Burning Man ’06. The platform is 8 feet tall, and 10 feet to a side. The sides are covered in shade cloth (shown in blue), held down at a 45 degree angle by guy wires. The top of the platform, accessible by a ladder, is (for the sake of interest) covered in astroturf. The tower at the back left corner of the platform is a searchlight assembly.
