Plastics derived from plants
Martin forwarded this link about plastics manufactured from plant materials, rather than petrochemicals. It sounds good, in principle: we’ll run out of hydrocarbons eventually, and our manufacturing sector kinda depends on plasticky goodness. It could be a more a sustainable approach.
