Presubmission procrastination
Yup, even though I have a thesis to submit tomorrow, I still have time to procrastinate. I have time to argue with hawks about extending war, tell other people how to date, and read about the math class I wish I had.

Crud! I had hoped you were giving advice on how to find a date, not what kind of date to take a pre-existing girlfriend on (reason why I’m single #397, I use expressions like “pre-existing girlfriend”). I was terribly disappointed.
Make sure someone takes you out for a drink after you’ve submitted your thesis. Although I think that’s more of a post-defence tradition you could also use the submission as an excuse to down one or two.
