This is sort of a Burning Man for the Barbie set. The Ottawa Lumière Festival is a one night lantern show in Stanley Park. I’ve been to it once, and it was quite fun. If you’re looking for a way to exercise that shiney new digital camera, this may be the way. It’s free.
I went – there were a lot of people exercising their shiny new digital cameras. Great displays this year, too.

The fire dancers where phenominal. They make me want to shave off all of my body hair, get rediculously fit, and then spend a lot of time with open flames.
