Yet another Hail Mary pass from Elizabeth May. Like running against Peter MacKay. Low probability attacks agains high value targets.

Nice try, audacious, but not apparent setup for it either on a PR or a logistics basis. Done correctly, this would have been framed ahead of time so they could not get away with excluding her.

From what I've seen this is symptomatic of her leadership, she's long on the long shots short on the national machine building that makes a political party successful. And you really can't do it alone, no matter how energetic you are.

She's the wrong person to lead the Greens at this phase of development, would have done much better if there was a stronger machine already in place.

I must say I'm very disappointed with the Greens performance in the last cycle overall, very little exposure and the Liberals have totally eaten their lunch on the Environmental policy level.

I suspect that our friends in the Consortium didn't try too hard to get the Greens in. Their reasons for excluding us in the past have been pretty weak.

That seems weird to me, that the "established" parties end up having the final word as to whether the Green Party was included. Could the Liberals, NDP, and Bloc threaten to pull out unless the Conservatives were left out? I know, that would just be silly.

I also find it odd that they threatened to pull out, especially if they didn't know that the other two parties would also threaten it.
