I&#039;m hung up on the idea of decentralized blogs. It would be nice if we could have the community features of Facebook without having to live on their servers.

It looks like Backtype is the less restrictive of the two centralized providers: it doesn&#039;t require the use of the disqus comment plugin.</description>
