Blogawa.ca has two new contributors: OCInfo, a website about OC Transpo and it’s forays into the online world; and Real Grouchy, a blog that makes my curmudgeonliness look like an affectation (and follows swap boxes).
On Friday I spent a couple of hours combing Ottawa blogs to invite new contributors to the Blogawa fold. Sadly, my response rate is abysmal. For every three invitations I send, I get one response.
Are there any blogs you would like to see added to Blogawa’s blogroll? If so, please leave a comment on this post.
I’ve added
Standard Issue to
Blogawa‘s blog roll. Some of James’ pictures are amazing. Just browse through his archive
for some fantastic photos.
I’ve added
http://geemoo.ca to
Blogawa. Why? Because Jean’s photos look great.
Blogawa is now up to five feeds. I added Mike Powell Fan Club earlier today (and discovered that I don’t handle podcasting).
I also discovered that <div/> tags don’t seem to be legal HTML 4. Instead of being an empty div, both FireFox and IE6 treat them as an open div. Blogawa’s HTML scrubber now removes them, but it took an agonizing hour and a half to discover that syntactically correct HTML is actually semantically incorrect.
My pet project,
Blogawa.ca now produces RSS of the contributor’s feeds. Huzzah!
Next project: Make Blogawa track/republish events in Ottawa.
